348 "Assistent" Rotating mixer RM 5, CE type with 5 synchronous turning excentric PVC-bearings.

The five PVC-bearings are designed as synchronous rotating surface for sample bottles, especially for samples of whole blood for haematological determinations and for the gentle mixing of other cell suspensions.

The rotating mixer is also suitable for preventing sedimentation of other samples, such as paint, lacquer, oil, cosmetics etc.

350 "Assistent" Rotary mixer, CE type

This device comprises a sturdy base section which houses the drive, electrical components and bearing for the eccentric disc. The eccentric disc can be screwed onto the bearing journal by means of a screw thread. This screw thread is designed in such a way that the eccentric disc is tightened by the drive. The eccentric disc features 3 circles of 20 holes each to accomodate 3 different sample bottle sizes: 10 mm, 12,5 mm and 15,5 mm.

The sample bottles inserted in the eccentric disc are held in position by means of an elastic clamping device. The basic frame is finished in an acid-proof coating and the eccentric disc is made of a plastic material extensively resistant to chemicals and solvents.

This rotary mixer operates on the principle that during one revolution of the eccentric disc the sample bottles rotate once around their own axis, resulting in an oscillating movement of the bottle contents from top to bottom and back again. The eccentric disc turns at a fixed speed of 6 rpm which also contributes towards the gentle mixing of samples.

348/1 "ASSISTENT" Rocking shaker, CE type

The rocking shaker comes with an illuminated "ON/OF" switch and a large platform (420 x 350 mm) with a special, anti-slip, adhesive mat for holding and gently rocking Petri dishes, microtiter plates and other small containers. The speed is electonically feedback controlled with a range of 10 - 100 oscillations per minute for continous use. The rocker platform is designed to pivot in the middle axis and can be adjusted to give an angular tilt of 3, 6, 9 or 12° (On delivery it is adjusted to 12 degrees).

348/2 Shaker with platform attachment

The apparatus is operating with a capacitor motor. The shaking speed is opto-electronically measured and electronically regulated. The receiving device for the shaking platform attachment is driven by an eccentric mechanism of 3 mm amplitude (from point to point). The rotations of the eccentric driveshaft are transmitted to the receiving device by strong ball-bearings. Four tubular connecting pieces prevent turning of the receiving device. Contrary to the traditional one-point-suspension these silicone connecting pieces adapt themselves symmetrically to the center of the rotation. This results in a uniform, horizontal and circular rotation at every point of the receiving device. The toggle switch permits different functions: "0"= "OFF", "I" = "continuous operation" and "II"= "timer". The timer can be regulated from 0 to 60 minutes. The shaking platform attachment is equipped with an anti-slip rubbery mat which holds Petri dishes, microtiter plates, small beakers and flasks securely in place. The mat can be easily cleaned with water and soap.
