We offer a new range of Formalin Vaporisers & Neutralisers. This is one of the most extensive ranges available in the World today with over twenty model configurations available ranging from 120ml to 5000ml solution volumes and available in both 110v & 230v 50/60Hz electrical configurations.
All standard models feature an automatic sensor system, switching off the heating cycle as soon as all of the Formalin solution has vaporised which makes our units intrinsically safe and especially suited for over night operations.
The entire range is compliant with the New European RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and is of course CE and WEEE Compliant.
The working surface temperature has also been further reduced giving improved operator safety.
The new Vaporiser range has standard face drillings to suit most existing classes of safety cabinet and in addition has the benefit of a side entry cable and rubber base making it suitable for all free standing applications where the unit is used inside the cabinet. The VAP/2 range has rubber feet and is available with an optional extended discharge spout and stainless steel wall bracket for external mounting. There is also an option for the addition of wheels on this model range.
All major parts are manufactured from stainless steel including the filler cap which has an integral heavy duty seal. The high intensity neon indicator is now also stainless steel and the discharge tube is designed to reduce condensate dripping during fumigation
The Model VAP/1 is exclusively designed for use with the microprocessor controlled safety cabinet where the safety cabinet is pre-programmed to carry out the fumigation cycle automatically.
The unit is simply plugged into the fumigation socket and the safety cabinet dictates the on and off periods for the vaporiser.
The unit is provided with automatic overheat protection to guard against any cabinet programming failure.
This unit is available in both 110v and 220/240v 50/60Hz Electrical configurations. CE Compliant all relevant tests and is provided with a 2 year warranty. A comprehensive user manual is also supplied with each product.

The Model VAP1/a vaporiser is the standard start switch Formalin vaporiser model with a validated solution volume of 120ml and is available in both 110v and 220/240v 50/60Hz Electrical configurations. CE Compliant all relevant tests and is provided with a 2 year warranty. A comprehensive user manual is supplied with each product.
The VAP1/a can be used inside the safety cabinet or can be permanently fixed to the outside of the cabinet using the drilling template and fixing screws supplied.
The unit is manufactured from Stainless Steel and is over painted in a hard wearing chemical resistant finish.
The VAP1/a features an automatic cut off sequence, switching off the heating cycle once all of the solution has boiled off irrespective of the solution volume used.
The Model VAP1a/T vaporiser has an on-delay timer instead of the start switch allowing a delay to be set before the commencement of the fumigation cycle and enabling remote switching via the cabinets externally switched internal socket.
The VAP1a/T Formalin vaporiser model has a validated solution volume of 120ml and is available in both 110v and 220/240v 50/60Hz Electrical configurations. CE Compliant all relevant tests and is provided with a 2 year warranty. A comprehensive user manual is supplied with each product.

All of the VAP/2 Models are available with an extended discharge spout and wall mounting bracket so that the unit can be fitted external to the room with only the discharge spout passing in to the containment area giving continuous access to the unit and particularly useful for CAT 3 rooms where emergency fumigation might be required once the Laboratory has been vacated.
The VAP/2 Formalin vaporiser models are available in both 110v and 220/240v 50/60Hz Electrical configurations. CE Compliant all relevant tests and is provided with a 2 year warranty. A comprehensive user manual is supplied with each product.
The Model VAP/2 Range is available in nine model types, the standard VAP/2 is the standard start switch model and the VAP2/T has the benefit of the on-delay timer so that a timed delay can be set into the unit. There is also an extended tube option.
The validated solution volume is 2000ml - 3000ml & 5000ml and this model range is typically used for larger volume areas such as Laboratory and containment areas.

The Model VAP/3 Vaporiser Introduces a new fully automatic decontamination and subsequent Neutralization cycle, simply and effectively and is designed for use where the fumigated volume cannot be vented directly to atmosphere and where much lower Formalin PPM levels are to be vented. Typically this covers the Class II re-circulating cabinet.
The Foramaflow VAP/3 vaporiser is the standard start switch Formalin model with a validated solution volume of 120ml to each chamber and is available in both 110v and 220/240v 50/60Hz Electrical configurations. CE Compliant all relevant tests and is provided with a 2 year warranty. A comprehensive user manual is supplied with each product.

The fumigation and neutralization cycles have been independently tested for effectiveness at CAMR Porton Down and shown to be fully effective in killing micro-organisms with a log reduction of greater than 6 when tested with resistant Bacillus subtilis var niger spores and will achieve in excess of the minimum concentration required by BS EN 12469:2000 of 50 mg/m3.
Typical concentrations of Formaldehyde Gas produced during Fumigation are substantially in excess of 100ppm
