The WIZARD achieved the Design Bronze Award when the prestigious American publisher Strategic Directions International, Inc. (SDi), through its newsletter Instrument Business Outlook (IBO) announced the winners of the fourteenth Annual IBO Design Awards for excellence in the industrial design of Laboratory Equipment.
The WIZARD represents a radical technology innovation in vortex
mixers evolutionary process. Based on optic technology, WIZARD is
provided with an innovative operational mode, absolutely unique on
the market. The instrument has the following features:
- The infrared system (IR) detects the presence of the test tube and automatically the vibration is activated!
- No pressure is required by the user to maintain the vibration! Thanks to this innovative operating mode, user work load is drastically reduced. No more pressure, no more stress!
- The WIZARD features a small footprint, low profile, ergonomic design and three anti-sliding feet which absorb the vibration and further enhances stability.
- The new Vortex "WIZARD" can assure the highest electric protection degree (IP42) in the vortex mixers market.
- Vortex Wizard includes a double operational working mode with the possibility to change the speed vibration. Lower speed settings allow for gentle mixing of samples while higher speeds can be used for vigorous vortex mixing and resuspending of cell or chemical pellets.
- The advanced technology results the best performances in terms of speed (max 3000rpm) with electronically controlled ramping speed. The electric Protection Degree is the highest on vortex mixer market (IP 42) which ensures the user best safety level and equipment life expectancy.
- VORTEX WIZARD combined with the use of a wide range of accessories (on request), makes this equipment fit for most diversified applications. Operating ambient temperature range from 50C to 400C, for use in a cold rooms or incubators.
- VORTEX WIZARD comes standard with a cup for single test tube.
