Uniequip UNIVAPO Vacuum Concentrators
The UNIVAPO systems consist of a vacuum-tight rotor chamber and a microprocessor controller for temperature and time giving speedy concentration of samples. The preset relatively low rotational speed of the magnetically driven motor develops enough centrifugal force so that the retardation of boiling (foaming) is avoided. Samples are concentrated in a very gentle manner and are 99% recovered.
- Two sizes: UNIVAPO 100 and UNIVAPO 150 (with larger chamber and rotors)
- Application: For preparative protocols of DNA, RNA, proteins, peptides, amino acids, hormones, enzymes and analytical protocols
- Technical description: The rotor chamber is totally enclosed, double sealed with a special sealant and teflon coated as standard
- Drive: The motor is located in the lower section and transmits power through a magnetic coupling. The section is readily accessible via the bottom base plate.
- Heater: Tubular type heater with electronic temperature control
- Timer: Electronic time control to max. 9 hours 59 minutes or continuous
- Vacuum connection: A two-way metal vacuum valve is installed on the rear side with ½" nozzle
- Options: Teflon coated rotor chamber
Automatic bleeder valve lets air into rotor chamber (speed dependent control)
