Schuett Phoenix gas safety burners have 3 operating modes (depending on model):
Sensor operation:
Sensitivity of IR sensor set by user with digitally adjustable sensor distance and pre-set time (1 second to 99 minutes) after which the flame switches off
Foot-switch mode 1:
Gas supply and electronic ignition are activated automatically by foot-switch. Gas supply cut off and flame stops when foot-switch is released
Foot-switch mode 2:
Flame comes on when foot-switch is clicked once and stops when pressed again or the pre-set time has elapsed.
