The Euromex DZ Series are top quality zoom stereomicroscopes for life science and material science applications.
Optical Equipment
- The DZ Series is designed around a highly precise Infinity Parallel Zoom body equipped with a Plan Apochromatic corrected main objective providing the necessary high contrasted images and resolving power to high-tech applications
- Choose between a 1:6.3 or 1:8 zoom ratio zoom body
- Both versions can be equipped with 3 different common main objectives with 0.5x, 1.0x and 2.0x magnifications
- Together with standard Extended Wide Field EWF 10x/22 well corrected eyepieces, magnifications up to 160x are achievable
- Optionally WF 15x16 and WF 20x/12 eyepieces are available
- Two head versions are available, a fixed 20º binocular head or an ergonomic head with adjustment of the inclination from 0º to 35º

DZ stand with dual LED illuminations
The DZ Series can be mounted on an ergonomic stand with incident and transmitted LED illuminations. Both illuminations are adjustable by separate knobs. The focusing range is 105 mm.
Universal stand without illumination
A universal stand with holder enables industrial applications where the operator must be able to move the stereomicroscope away from their desk.
Dual iris diaphragm and phototube
A dual iris diaphragm DZ.9010 can be added to the configuration in order to achieve maximum contrast and resolving power.
A camera can be mounted with the optional phototube DZ.9005.
Cold light illuminations
LE.5210 or LE.5211 multi-functional 100 Watt or 150 Watt halogen cold light sources are commonly used illuminations. The light intensity is fully adjustable. Light guides are chosen separately.
Depending on the application, these cold light sources can be used with flexible or gooseneck type guides or fibre optic ring lights.
Industrial LED ring illuminations
An industrial ring light illumination LE.19xx can be mounted around the objective providing a very white ring illumination of the object.
The LED illuminations are available with 0 – 100% light intensity power supply or a 7 segment LED controller. The controller enables to select one of the 7 segments of the LED ring light in order to achieve oblique illumination to reveal other details.
The ring lights ca be equipped with focusing Fresnel lenses or a protection glass window and a polariser / analyser to perform petrological analyses.
