Euromex X Series and C Series Biological Microscopes
The Euromex X Series microscopes are perfect for use at schools and in laboratories.
The nice, ergonomically designed stand is very comfortable in use. All movable parts of the stand have ball bearings. The rigid finishing of these microscopes guarantee a long lifetime and satisfactory use.
The famous C Series microscopes have a steady place in the marketplace. The C Series is often considered as the original of these types of microscopes and is this is due to the firm construction which is extremely suitable for use at schools and in small laboratories.
Optical Equipment
The achromatic objectives are parfocally aligned on the 160 mm. DIN tubes. When changing the magnification the image remains perfectly centred and the slide remains visible. The high quality lenses provide an optimal image quality and the anti-reflection coating prevents unwanted image distortion. The DIN eyepieces WF 10x/18 of the X and C Series provide a large image view. The parfocal length of the C Series objectives is 35 mm., that of the X Series are 45 mm. All X Series microscopes are equipped with a height adjustable Abbe condenser and can be used with a 100x objective. With the C Series one can choose between a fixed one lens condenser or a height adjustable Abbe condenser.
Stand
The object can be focused by using coarse and fine adjustment knobs. The knobs of the X Series are coaxial and the fine adjustment works over the entire range of adjustment which enables a very precise focusing. The coarse adjustment is equipped with a safety device which prevents damaging the objectives and slide.
Table
The fixed table of 120 x 120 mm. has two object clamps. With the optional mechanical stage the object can be moved by using translation knobs. The microscopes XE.5645 and XE.5647 have a large built-in mechanical stage, X-Y translation 70 x 30 mm., Vernier 0.1 mm., with vertical coaxial controls.
Illuminator
The X Series and C Series are supplied with a 20 Watt standard illumination, a fluorescent illumination or a halogen illumination. The X Series can also be supplied with an LED illumination.
The advantage of using fluorescent illumination is the reproduction of the natural colours of the slide and the very low heat development. Beside these advantages this illumination is very pleasant to work with due to its homogeneous character.
The LED illumination – with built-in rechargeable battery and charger- is ideal in case there is no 230 Volts connection. The light power is adjustable. Fully charged batteries are suitable for 75 hours of usage.
General technical information
- Observation tube: Monocular or binocular 45º tube, 360º rotatable, tube length 160 mm. The binocular head has eye correction on both tubes, ± 5 diopters. Adjustable inter-pupillary distance 50 – 75 mm.
- Stand X Series: Focusing through coaxial coarse and fine adjustment knobs with scale (interval 5μm).
Stand C Series: Focusing through coarse and fine adjustment knobs with scale
(interval 2μm).
- Protection: Specimen protection to prevent damage to objective and specimen
- Eyepieces: WF 10x/18,with the monocular models equipped with fixed arrow pointer and screw locked. Microscopes XE.5645 and XE.5647 with DIN HWF 10x/18 eyepieces, suitable for people with spectacles.
- Revolving nosepiece:With ball bearings and click stop for 4 objectives.
- Stage: 120 x 120 mm. with 2 fixed object clamps. Microscopes XE.5646 and XE.5647 with large built-in mechanical stage, X-Y translation 70 x 30 mm., Vernier 0.1 mm., with vertical coaxial control.
- Objectives X Series: Achromatic DIN objectives 4x, 10x, 40x with colour code. The 40x objective is spring loaded.
- Objectives C Series: Achromatic objectives 4x, 10x, 40x with colour code. The 40x objective is spring loaded.
- Condenser X Series: Height adjustable Abbe condenser.
- Condenser C Series: Fixed one lens condenser or height adjustable Abbe condenser.
