Progen Scientific is the UK distributor for the Bandelin ultrasonic homogenisers which can be used in a wide range of applications to homogenise samples, such as biological samples, without the aggression of mechanical homogenisers. Applications include homogenising, emulsifying, suspending, sample preparation, cell disruption, sonochemistry, degassing and acceleration of reactions. There are several models depending on the volume of sample and available in the analogue or digital programmable versions. A wide range of probes and accessories are available including sound reducing cabinets to house the ultrasonic homogeniser horns / probes during operation.
