Capillary blotters

The Scie-Plas capillary blotters contain a permanent optimized wick system, which draws up more fluid than inefficient overlapping filter wicks which, have largely been eliminated.

These systems ensure faster transfer of DNA and RNA samples for speedy Southern and Northern blots.

Also, because the wick transfers buffer upwards and not laterally in any stage during the blotting process, multiple gels can be transferred with much less risk of contamination of DNA or RNA samples.
