Drying Cabinets
Model F1
These heated cabinets are ideal for drying glassware, instruments, theatrical wigs or media and can also be used for warming or simply storage. Four sizes of cabinets are available with hinged glass doors ranging from 1000 litres to 255 litres.
All glass used is toughened and complies with BS 6206: 1981 Class A.
Description
The cabinets are rust resistant and finished in powder coated paint with heatproof toughened glass doors and chromium plated wire mesh sheves. All models are free standing on wooden battens which prevent damage to the bench or floor surfaces. The shelves are removable and can be adjusted for height every 25mm. The heating elements are waterproof and are located under the perforated floor which is plated and then finished in powder coated paint for extra protection.
Temperature control is by 'Simmerstat' energy regulator giving control up to a maximum of 50°C above ambient temperature. See also 'Optional Extras'.
Model Range
The standard cabinets are supplied with a sliding stainless steel shutter on the top for ventilation. Cabinets are also available with a fan for circulation or extraction:
- An extractor fan for exhausting moisture to outside the building. The fan is located in a chimney which adds approximately 200mm to the overall height and terminates in a 100mm diameter spigot.
- A circulating fan can be incorporated for improved drying performance. Air is drawn upwards through the body of the cabinet and returned via a full width air duct to the heaters in the base.
Note: The F1 model is also available with combined circulating/extractor system. A butterfly valve system adjusts the proportion of air circulated or exhausted by a single, more powerful fan unit.
Sliding Door Models
Model SS
Both of these compact cabinets have single wall construction of electro-zinc treated mild steel finished in powder coated paint with heat proof toughened glass sliding doors. The three chromium plated wire mesh shelves are removable and can be fully adjusted for height every 19mm.
Temperature control is by Simmerstat giving any desired heat up to a maximum of 50°C above room temperature.
Both models have fixing holes so that they can be wall mounted if desired.
Model LS - 226 litre (8 cu.ft.) capacity.
Model SS - 113 litre (4 cu.ft.) capacity.
