Sand Baths

FALC’s sand baths are ideal for the homogenous heating of the contents in the baths. The external structure is made of steel which has been oven coated with acid-resistant epoxy paint whilst the inner tanks are made of extra thick 304 stainless steel. The whole structure is insulated with a 40 mm thick layer of ceramic fibre which ensures that the temperature outside the apparatus remains at room temperature. Heating is provided by iron-clad stainless steel heating elements. Temperature regulation and control are provided by a bimetallic temperature regulator on a numbered scale. An illuminated green ON/OFF switch is provided as standard.
Stainless steel tanks, analogue control, temp. range to ambient +450oC and illuminated green ON/OFF switch. Ideal for the homogeneous heating of the contents in the baths.
