They have sparkfree interiors to reduce the risk of internal explosions, CFC and HCFC free refrigeration systems ensuring minimal risk to the environment and locks to prevent theft or unauthorised access.

Labcold

Labcold sparkfree laboratory fridges are for laboratory and general use where there is a concern that volatile, flammable materials or components might be stored. Fires started by inappropriate refrigerators are more common in laboratory type environments than elsewhere. These Labcold sparkfree products are constructed without exposed electrical components or sources of arc, spark or heat within their chambers to ensure there is no possibility of ignition internally.

Model RLSP1804 features fan circulation but is also sparkfree, being designed with an externally mounted motor and shaft drive to the fan impellor.
