The compact incubator range combines proven reliability and performance in a space-efficient design.
Models K1, K3 and K2 (from left to right)
Construction
All models feature stainless steel chambers with adjustable shelves and a toughened glass inner viewing door(s). The outer cabinet is rust resistant and is finished in powder coated paint for a tough, easy to clean finish. An access port for cables and monitoring probes is provided.
Heating
A profiled heating mat is bonded to the incubator walls and then polyurethane foamed in situ. This not only provides insulation of the highest quality, but also ensures better temperature stability.
Temperature Control
A large, red LED display shows the chamber temperature. Indicator lamps show when the heater is active and if an over temperature condition exists. The over temperature safety cut out can be easily be adjusted by the user.
Model K1 relies on natural air convection to maintain stable chamber temperatures. For better performance, a fan assisted version is available (model K1/F).
Models K2 and K3 have a circulation fan fitted as standard. The air is ducted around the chamber to give ideal temperature stability and fast recovery after door opening. When the door is opened, the fan stops automatically in order to minimise any heat loss.
All fan assisted models can be fitted with a boost heater (option /H) for control at temperatures up to +90°C. The Electronic temperature controller keeps fluctuations to a minimum and automatically compensates for changes in ambient temperature.
The option of dual temperature cycling allows the chamber temperature to cycle automatically between two preset temperatures.

Humidity Work
These incubators are not suitable for above ambient humidity work. The SF range of humidity cabinets with sealed stainless steel chambers are designed for this application.
