Prestige Autoclaves

2100 Classic Prestige Autoclave

The 2100 Classic offers the most cost effective solution for the world’s preferred method of sterilization

Recommendation

Steam sterilization, or autoclaving, is the preferred method for eliminating the risk of cross

infection through contaminated instruments and the only one recommended throughout the world by healthcare professionals including the W.H.O (World Health Organisation) and C.D.C (Centre for Disease Control).

Evolution

Stylish aesthetics, together with a host of enhanced features, build on the successful attributes of the original Series 2100 range, to ensure the 2100 ‘Classic’ perfectly complements today’s modern clinics and the exacting needs of the healthcare professional.

Assurance

Prestige Medical, as an ISO 9001 / EN46001 accredited company ensures all products including the 2100 Classic have been designed to the latest international standards for safety and performance and are fully CE marked to the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC.

Design

Light, compact and portable.

A simple one step operation starts the automatic cycle.

Light sequence indicators show ‘Power to Unit’ - ‘Cycle in Progress’ - ‘Sterilization in Progress’ - ‘Cycle is Successful’ or ‘Cycle has Failed’

An interlock system prevents the lid from being removed whilst pressure remains in the vessel.

A two stage ‘over pressure’ protection system incorporates a calibrated Pressure Release Valve and a Gasket Offset Device.

An extended life ‘green’ gasket lasts in excess of 600 cycles.

Electronic detectors turn off the power if there is insufficient water.

Optional temperature and pressure gauges show internal chamber conditions during the cycle.

Thermal fuse (all models) and double pole fuses (not 120v models) protect against overheating and electrical faults.

‘TST’ indicator strips provide independent verification that the correct combination of temperature, steam and time have been achieved for successful sterilization.

For your assurance of quality, each autoclave is computer tested and issued with a unique Performance Test Certificate showing that the parameters for successful sterilization have been met.

Each autoclave is issued with a Certificate of Compliance (not 120v models) stating the pressure vessel conforms to BS3970 Pt.4, as certified independently by Eagle Star.

Zenith autoclaves

The ultimate vacuum handpiece autoclave

" Vacuum autoclaves are the method of choice for sterilising wrapped and hollow instruments" - 'Infection control in dentistry - proceedings of the British Dental Association workshop' February 2002

The Zenith is unique - a fully specified Type 'B' autoclave which has been designed specifically for the rapid sterilisation of complex, hollow instruments, including dental handpieces.

Versatile loads:

  • Stainless steel holder can be easily configured for sterilising pouched or unpouched instruments and provides capacity to sterilise up to 10 pouched handpieces
  • Self-sealing instrument pouches with sterilisation indicators are available in 2 sizes
  • Two, large capacity baskets enable unpouched items to be sterilised
  • Vertical chamber allows full use to be made of its 2.5 litre capacity

Single use water system:

  • Uses clean, uncontaminated water for each cycle
  • Fully accessible reservoir is easy to refill
  • Only the required volume of water is used for each cycle
  • 0.75 litre reservoir of fresh water is sufficient for 10 cycles
  • Used water container easily removed for emptying
  • Fail safe mechanism indicates when water container requires emptying

Features:

  • Triple pulsed fractionated vacuum cycle - ensures more effective air removal allowing all loads to be sterilised safely and effectively
  • Bowie Dick & Helix steam penetration tests - gives peace of mind knowing that the autoclave continues to operate effectively at all times
  • Single shot water system - prevents the build-up of contaminants within the reservoir, allowing for easy cleaning and a more hygienic starting point for each sterilisation cycle
  • Automatic air leakage detection test - ensures that if there is a problem with the vacuum system, the sterilisation cycle will not operate
  • The touch sensitive control panel with LCD display has been designed to be as simple to use as possible. The selection, acceptance and commencement of the preferred cycle is done simply at the press of a button
  • Six automatic cycles:

1. 134oC / 18 minute cycle 2. 134oC / 3 minute Type B vacuum cycle for linen loads, wrapped, pouched or unpouched instruments, with drying 3. 134oC / 3 minute vacuum cycle for unpouched solid or hollow instruments, with drying 4. 1340C / 3 minute cycle for unpouched solid or hollow instruments without drying

5. non-vacuum cycle for unpouched instruments, with drying 6. non-vacuum cycle for unpouched instruments, without drying
