Phoenix gas safety burner

The intelligent and flexible laboratory gas burner offers fantastic digital technology. You activate it by moving your hand in front of the display or by using the foot-switch.

Listed below are the special features offered with the Phoenix laboratory gas burner.

Sensor operation:
Sensitivity of IR sensor individually set by user with digitally adjustable sensor distance and preset time (1 sec. to 99 min.) after which flame stops.

Foot-switch mode 1:
Gas supply and electronic ignition are activated automatically by foot-switch. Gas supply cut off and flame stops when foot-switch is released

Foot-switch mode 2:
Flame comes on when foot-switch pressed once and stops when pressed again or the preset time has elapsed

• Flame monitoring - safety feature will automatically re-ignite gas if flame inadvertently extinguished. Gas supply automatically cuts off if re-ignition fails after 10 seconds and digital fault report displayed
• Ergonomic controls for adjusting gas and air supply plus multifunction control for adjusting burn-time and modes of operation
• Gas saving features
• Adaptability to various power / gas supplies (natural gas, gas canister or gas cartridge) gives flexibility of use and location

Schuett Flammy R flame sterilisation carousel

Gas Burner Sterilisation Features:

• Used in combination with the laboratory Schuett Phoenix gas safety burner
• The carousel can be used with 5 inoculating loops i.e. there is always enough time for the cooling process so there is always a sterile and cool loop available
• All control elements are arranged on the front control panel including flame sterilisation time (2 to 10 seconds) and the option to flame sterilise all 5 inoculating loops at the push of a button
• The vertical positioning of the inoculating loop holder prevents the contamination of the loop with dropping particles and the Flammy R is suitable for right or left handed operation
• The maintenance-free switches are covered inside the device thus preventing a malfunction due to dirt or stray light
• Flammy R is supplied with 5 stainless steel inoculation loop holders and loops of stainless steel or platin-iridium are also available

for automatic flame sterilisation of inoculation loops. Simply place the inoculating loop onto the carousel for it to be rotated forward to the gas safety burner for flame sterilisation. The next inoculating loop is immediately available
